Death Penalty Abolition Week: “Defending the Innocent from Wrongful Execution”

Join us at the University of Notre Dame for Death Penalty Abolition Week events featuring discussions with exonerees, attorneys, authors, experts, and more. All are welcome to attend.

“Defending the Innocent from Wrongful Execution” will be held in 1130 Eck Hall of Law and will feature Federal Public Defender Erin Barnhart JD ’05 and Elwood Jones, Ohio Death Row Exoneree.

Death Penalty Abolition Week is sponsored by the Notre Dame Law School Exoneration Justice Clinic, the Institute for Social Concerns, and the Klau Institute for Civil and Human Rights.

Co-sponsored by the American Constitution Society, Notre Dame Exoneration Project, Jus Vitae, Women’s Legal Forum, and the National Lawyers Guild.
