Jeffrey Weisheit is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection on November 10, 2026, before sunrise. He faces punishment for the tragic events of April 2010, when he murdered Alyssa Lynch, age eight, and Caleb Lynch, age five. Mr. Weisheit has applied for executive clemency, which will be considered by the Indiana Parole Board and Governor Mike Braun. Regardless of the Parole Board’s recommendation, the governor has the final say in whether he is to be executed.

Please write letters, asking the Parole Board to recommend clemency and Governor Braun to exercise his exclusive authority to stop the execution.

Clemency is a constitutional safeguard that recognizes no system of human judgment is infallible. It exists to ensure that justice does not end simply because judicial review has run its course. In the case of Mr. Weisheit, clemency is not only appropriate but necessary in light of the extraordinary circumstances surrounding his sentence and the substantial issues that have not yet been fully presented.
